Our Witch of the Wood is a tarot reader, teacher, craft practitioner and recovering Catholic. She has a particular talent for finding and reviving lost and neglected things – believing that sometimes it takes just a bit of elbow grease and love to bring something back to life.
She can’t exactly remember when she began her practice, but if collecting rocks and random things as well as mixing ‘potions’ with backyard ingredients counts, then you could say she’s been this way
since childhood. To this day, you can find her picking up a particular rock or shell from the beach, preparing a batch of moon water or refinishing a salvaged item (because you never know who’s going to need it).
She considers tarot readings tools of self-awareness and reflection as much as divination. Often part consultation / part therapy, she works with her clients to shed light on the situation at hand and helps provide insight on the way forward. The magic happens in between what is known and what needs to be done.
She believes in love at first sight, that a great laugh and good night’s sleep are two of the most powerful magics out there, and that the world would be better served if we all went back to being who we were at 5 years old.
